How can I remove Pledge from my hardwood floor?
Question by degustibusnondisputandumest: How can I remove Pledge from my hardwood floor? I (stupidly) polished a bedside table while it was standing on my hardwood floor and some Pledge got on the floor. It’s insanely slippery and I have 2 small kids who will run across and fall, I’m sure. What can I use to take off the Pledge? I tried Orange Glo hardwood floor cleaner, but it didn’t make it less slippery. Best answer:Answer by Nane
weak solution of washing soda or washing up liquid (dish soap)in warm -hand hot- water , rise with clean water before drying. Anything designed to remove grease or fats will work to remove the silicones in the pledge which have caused the problem, but need to be careful with the finish on the floor.
