I like “Murphy’s Oil Soap” the best, you add a little to water and it does a great job, lets the luster of the finish show (depending on your finish). By the way, we have hardwood floors. One more tip for you, while you mop, wring water out of mop (I know you probably know that one, specified just in case) and then also follow behind where you mop with a clean towel. Example: I spread a clean towel on the floor and step on it, wear shoes they grip better. Then as I mop I slide my feet with the towel drying up any wet areas. I always get great results.

I swear by Murpy’s Oil Soap. My sister paid to have all of my floors re-done by this Amish guy and his wife. They were beautifully done hardwood floors. His wife did the 1st clean and used Murphy’s Oil Soap and they are magnificent and that is all I have ever used. You can get it at any store. I know they sell it at most department stores.

Go to a flooring shop. They usually carry superior products that you wont find any old place.
